the importance of art

I think tax dollars should be used on art and theater classes in school. School already as it is stressful and being honest not very pleasant to attend. I think these classes are a nice break between your stressful core classes if one chooses to take them, because not everyone does. Creative classes are a great way to express yourself and a lot of people discover their talent in these classes and turn it into careers.  School already teaches us the classes we need for life so if it was just those classes our life would consist of preparing you for the work force and them working until you can't because of old age. The classes do a lot for the school in regards to school spirit as well and helps unify. "Lost In The World Like Me"

1) The general premise of the video is based off technology, more specifically cellphones and social media, taking over our lives today. Throughout the whole video everyone was so focused in on their phones they were completely oblivious to what was happening around them and those not keeping up don't really fit in, so much to the point of suicide. 2) The video was very effective in conveying its message without words. The video was in grey which added to the feeling of unhappiness and the sense of not really knowing where he belonged in the world portrayed by the images. 3) I think this is more of an examination of what our society has become. I feel people are so wrapped up in their social life and the good things that social media brings they don't really understand the damages it brings with it. People believe they need to live up to the expectations society has set and if they don't they have failed so much to the point where people commit suicide.

He is hanging on to her face with a rope. it looks like the man is scaling her face while she looks straight into the camera. The picture to me looks like an artistic image. The meaning to me is not clear but I fell like he was trying to communicate how hard it can be to actually get to know and understand someone. You are really little compared to them and need to work your way to the top to gain confidence.  The intent was to express a message through the size of the figures. The size shows how big and hard to overcome a person can be and it can make you feel really small.
